Here are answers to some
Frequently Asked Questions concerning SIMA products.
How do I request
that a feature be added to a SIMA library program?
Please contact SIMA Technical Support by
email or phone (703-569-1270). Within SIMA
Camelot Online, click Contact Us/Suggestions to
complete an email with your suggestion.
Where can I find
out if I am running the latest version of my SIMA
software?
On the top level menu on the main title
screen, click About; in the window that opens, you will
see the version number of your software. Then look at
our
Updates page to see if you
are running the latest released version of that
software. If not, please contact SIMA Technical Support
by
email or phone (703-569-1270).
Why doesn't your
Web site provide prices of SIMA software?
We consider prices to be proprietary information that
should not be disclosed to our competition. We work
closely with our librarian customers in helping them
choose the most cost-effective product options for their
particular library needs. SIMA software is feature-rich
and extremely easy to use, and you will be surprised to
discover how affordable SIMA software is compared to
the competition.
What is the
quickest way to get a priced proposal for SIMA software?
As explained on our
How to Acquire
page, the best way is to call us at 703-569-0993. The reason is
that we need to understand your library's requirements
and help you determine which software and which options
are best able to meet those needs. The telephone
conversation will not take long, and then we will
prepare and email a priced proposal to you without
delay. If you prefer, you may send us an
email, but please provide us with details about your
library (e.g., number of catalog and serials titles,
number of library branches involved, current automation programs
being used, whether or not the desired system will be networked,
whether or not you want Internet access to your library program
and how many library staffers will need concurrent editing
rights).
